Sabertooth: hybrid performance for multiple applications

A hybrid AUV and ROV platform rated to 3,000 m, the Saab Sabertooth combines autonomous mission execution with manual precision intervention, giving you the flexibility to select the most appropriate mode for each task.

The 360 degree hovering manoeuvrability allows it to operate close to infrastructure with precision, and the tether-free autonomous capability removes the operational constraints of conventional ROV systems.
Sabertooth supports inspection, surveillance and other survey operations across a wide range of subsea environments, from offshore energy infrastructure and subsea cables to offshore wind and defense applications. It can be deployed from shore, vessels, offshore installations or permanent resident systems.

MantaRay: Bringing autonomy to ocean bottom seismic

With an operating water-depth range from 3 to 3,000 m, and a payload up to 40 MNodes, MantaRay is a versatile autonomous vehicle that reduces vessel use and costs while enabling faster, safer node deployment and retrieval.

Payload up to 40 nodes

Without a tether and fully autonomous, MantaRay can operate closer to infrastructure without the risk of entanglement and can work in shallower water than a conventional ROV. It can be deployed from a vessel, from shore or from a subsea docking station, removing the need for continuous vessel support during resident operations. Multiple vehicles can operate concurrently in the same area without the constraints of tether management, and autonomous navigation delivers consistent, repeatable positioning across node placement and retrieval.
